Bone Setting
Bone Setting is a traditional method for correcting restrictions in the joints, fascia, and nervous system. It focuses on opening the body, restoring space, and reorganising your structure so you move with more freedom and ease.
This method comes from long-term internal training, requiring refined sensitivity and the ability to feel deep inside the body — a skill that takes years to develop.
Because of these high requirements, this approach has become rare, even in mainland China. Here you receive one of the few remaining lineages of true structural work.
We are based in Chiang Mai, but travel throughout Asia for sessions.

What Our Clients Said

“I felt better after just one visit.”
THESE GUYS! 🙌🏻 As most of you know, 15 years ago I experienced a horrendous spinal injury which initially had me in a back brace unable to move for months & ultimately left the vertebrae in my lower back fused with absolutely no movement & up to just 7 days ago I experienced pain on a daily basis . . . Well, after just ONE (yes, one) session with @andymacks_ig & @duranmack of @hme_healing my spine is MOVING & I am pain free! Nearly half of my life I’ve spent dreaming of a solution & now, unbelievably I’ve found it ⚡️ These guys are wizards, incredibly knowledgable, professional, honest, intuitive, wise & such good fun. So happy to have found you now!
Thank you for another amazing session this afternoon guys. My body, spirit, mind & inspiration are all renewed 🙏🏻 This is a good day!!!
— Karis Scarlette (Royal Ballet graduate)

"For the first time in my life, my body actually began to reorganize itself."
I’ve had all types of massages, adjustments, and bodywork—Rolfing, Deep Tissue & Thai Massage, Myofascial Release, Cranio-Sacral, Chiropractic—and none compare to HME HEALING. The Qi Setting I received seemed to get to the most essential, deepest parts of my body and nearly instantly corrected root skeletal misalignments in my ankles, hips, sacrum, lumbar, thoracic, cervical vertebra, and even reset my left shoulder so it finally moves comfortably and sits properly in its socket.
After a Qi Setting session (just 10–15 minutes), I feel like I have a brand new skeleton. A typical massage feels good for a day or two, but this left me with an aligned, comfortable core body sensation that lasts for months. After a few sessions, I now have the precious gift of a new, efficient, relaxed way of carrying my body.
In my late 40s I noticed my spine developing odd irregularities and worried I was headed toward the same painful hunch my grandmother suffered with. Now, after several sessions, I feel confident I can maintain a healthy, aligned spine as long as I keep up my Taiji practice and receive a good session every now and then.

"They have an uncanny ability to sense tension"
"I went for a treatment to help correct postural alignments and relieve tightness in my body to improve my Taiji training. They have an uncanny ability to sense tension and postural deficiencies in the body, and his Qi Setting skills are truly amazing in helping to release the areas and re-align the skeletal structure. I felt areas of my body open up that would have taken me years to get to, if ever.

About Us
Bone Setting History
Bone Setting is one of the oldest forms of hands-on bodywork, with roots in traditional practices found across China, Southeast Asia, and parts of Europe. Long before modern clinical systems existed, skilled practitioners worked directly with the body to restore movement, organise structure, and help people remain physically capable.
In the Chinese tradition, bone setting developed alongside internal martial arts. Practitioners trained their own bodies for sensitivity, stability, and internal coordination, learning to feel how force moves through joints, fascia, and connective tissue. This level of perception was essential — the work relied on touch, awareness, and experience rather than tools, machines, or external force.
As modern medicine and standardised therapies became dominant, many traditional methods were simplified or lost. Bone setting, in its original form, became rare due to the long training required to develop the necessary skill. What remains today is often a fragmented version of a much deeper system.
The approach practiced here comes from this older lineage — refined through long-term training and thousands of hours working directly with real bodies. While the principles are traditional, the application is practical and adapted for modern life, focusing on movement quality, structural organisation, and long-term physical capability rather than short-term fixes.

No — Bone Setting is its own method, separate from physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage.
It comes from internal martial arts traditions and works by opening the joints and tissues without cracking or aggressive manipulation. The techniques rely on sensitivity, internal force, and structural awareness rather than clinical adjustments.Bone Setting is a 30-minute session, and training sessions typically run 45–60 minutes.
Most people feel a clear shift after the first session, but deeper change usually happens over a few sessions.
From there, we recommend monthly, bi-monthly, or tri-monthly check-ins to keep the body opening and prevent slipping back into old patterns.Training accelerates the results — it reinforces the Bone Setting, helps the body hold the changes, and builds new strength on top of the structural work.
Not in the rehab sense. Think of it more like maintaining openness and structure in the body — the same way you maintain strength or mobility.
Each session builds on the last, and progress tends to compound over time.Treatment is hands-on structural work. I assess your posture, joints, and skeletal organisation, then use precise bone-setting and bodywork techniques to release compression, correct misalignments, and reset the body so it moves more naturally. It’s fast, targeted, and creates immediate change without you needing to “do” anything.
Training is active re-education of your body mechanics. You learn how to move, stand, walk, and generate force with proper structure. It develops internal strength, joint opening, fascial connection, power, efficiency, and coordination. Training teaches your body to keep the improvements—so they don’t fade.
In simple terms:
Treatment resets the structure.
Training reinforces it and builds new patterns so you stay aligned, strong, and pain-free.
