Workshop Bangkok

Body Opening & Posture workshop

This one-hour workshop is led by Duran Mack, a traditional bone-setting practitioner and Kung Fu instructor with over nine years running clinics and training internationally.

The session introduces a direct way of improving posture and comfort by working with how the body is structured, not just how it moves. Rather than stretching or strengthening on top of restriction, the focus is on restoring openness in the joints and connective tissue so the body can organize itself more efficiently.

Duran is flying in to Bangkok to run a Bone Setting clinic and workshop, teaching clear, practical exercises drawn from traditional Kung Fu training.

Schedule:

Saturday 18th April | 7:00PM - 8:00PM

Location:

Moda Dance Studio, Sukhumvit 42 (Google Maps Link)

Price: 1,500 THB

What You’ll Work On

What to expect

This workshop is structured training, not a treatment and not a fitness class. The focus is on learning how the body opens, stacks, and supports itself under load.

The material is drawn from long-term internal practice and refined through years of teaching. Everything is taught simply, with an emphasis on feeling clear changes rather than memorizing sequences.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of how your body holds itself — and what to work on next.

Joint & Tendon Opening

Exercises that reduce compression in the joints and restore range where movement has become limited. The work is progressive and controlled, not forceful.

Fascial Organisation

Learning how tension patterns form across the body and how to reduce unnecessary strain so movement feels lighter and more connected.

Postural Re-stacking

Understanding how posture improves when joints are open and the body is aligned vertically, rather than through conscious “correction.

Grounded Stability

Simple drills that improve balance and structural support through the feet, legs, and spine without bracing or stiffness.

Insight into our work

Who is this
workshop for?

People with Persistent Tightness or Postural Issues

If you feel stiff, compressed, or misaligned — especially through the neck, shoulders, hips, or spine — this work gives you a practical way to address the underlying structure rather than stretching around it.

People Who Train but Don’t Feel “Put Together”

For those who lift, stretch, practise yoga, or stay active but still feel disconnected, unstable, or uneven in their body. This workshop helps you build a better foundation so your existing training actually lands.

Those Wanting Clear, Non-Generic Guidance

This is suited to people who don’t want random exercises or vague cues. The work is specific, grounded, and based on how bodies respond in real life, not idealised movement models.

Anyone Wanting a First Step Without Commitment

If you’re curious about deeper bodywork or longer training but want a clear, low-pressure introduction first, this workshop gives you a strong reference point without locking you into anything.

THESE GUYS! 🙌🏻 As most of you know, 15 years ago I experienced a horrendous spinal injury which initially had me in a back brace unable to move for months & ultimately left the vertebrae in my lower back fused with absolutely no movement & up to just 7 days ago I experienced pain on a daily basis . . . Well, after just ONE (yes, one) session with @andymacks_ig & @duranmack of @hme_healing my spine is MOVING & I am pain free! Nearly half of my life I’ve spent dreaming of a solution & now, unbelievably I’ve found it ⚡️ These guys are wizards, incredibly knowledgable, professional, honest, intuitive, wise & such good fun. So happy to have found you now!
Thank you for another amazing session this afternoon guys. My body, spirit, mind & inspiration are all renewed 🙏🏻 This is a good day!!!

I’ve had all types of massages, adjustments, and bodywork—Rolfing, Deep Tissue & Thai Massage, Myofascial Release, Cranio-Sacral, Chiropractic—and none compare to HME HEALING. The Qi Setting I received seemed to get to the most essential, deepest parts of my body and nearly instantly corrected root skeletal misalignments in my ankles, hips, sacrum, lumbar, thoracic, cervical vertebra, and even reset my left shoulder so it finally moves comfortably and sits properly in its socket.

After a Qi Setting session (just 10–15 minutes), I feel like I have a brand new skeleton. A typical massage feels good for a day or two, but this left me with an aligned, comfortable core body sensation that lasts for months. After a few sessions, I now have the precious gift of a new, efficient, relaxed way of carrying my body.

In my late 40s I noticed my spine developing odd irregularities and worried I was headed toward the same painful hunch my grandmother suffered with. Now, after several sessions, I feel confident I can maintain a healthy, aligned spine as long as I keep up my Taiji practice and receive a good session every now and then.

"I went for a treatment to help correct postural alignments and relieve tightness in my body to improve my Taiji training. They have an uncanny ability to sense tension and postural deficiencies in the body, and his Qi Setting skills are truly amazing in helping to release the areas and re-align the skeletal structure. I felt areas of my body open up that would have taken me years to get to, if ever.

From personal experience, HME Taiji is a rare organisation in this field, whether you classify it as martial arts, personal development or other mental/physical/spiritual practice, it is exceptional in the material it teaches and the quality of teaching. Duran is a fantastic teacher and a great guy who is highly proficient in the art and able to convey his knowledge to students very effectively. I have practiced a number of martial arts over a 40 years and met people of extremely high abilities. When these people speak of authentic Taiji (Tai Chi) they are serious when they say it’s also called ‘the supreme ultimate’. You can see YouTube videos of Sifu Adam Mizner, the head of HME, to get some idea of the potential. Taiji must be experienced to be properly understood. It is a profound internal practice that I felt the extraordinary effects of after the very first lesson, and ever since. I would highly recommend you try this practice sincerely and experience its great benefits.

"After meeting Sifu Adam Mizner when I lived in Chiang Mai, HME is the only Tai Chi federation I choose to study with. Duran is a genuine and totally dedicated senior instructor under Sifu Adam, so if you want to learn the internal art and health benefits of Tai Chi (and not only a beautiful way to move) then you're in the right place."

"I have been struggling with spinal issues for the last decade after being injured in full contact Sanda fighting and have been treated by many physiotherapists and chiropractors over the years. NOTHING comes close to the amazing work that Andy and Duran Mack from HME Healing offer. They are two of the sweetest, kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. I recommend at least 3+ sessions and absolutely guarantee that your pain will dissipate. If you feel you have tried everything and given up, I highly recommend giving them a try! I was sure that I would never be able to function properly again, let alone partake in any physical activity. I feel 10 years younger and wish that I had discovered them sooner! The location is also beautiful and one immediately feels at ease. I cannot say enough great things about them. You owe it to yourself to pay them a visit, its more than worth it!"

"I've been to the Akasha spa for the bonesetting treatment they offer. I've had a bad shoulder and weak back since an injury a few years ago. I've tried everything but nothing gave such relief as the bonesetting they do! My flexibility has increased immensely and it's making my workouts otherwise more efficient. I was skeptical going in but I was happily surprised.Thank you father son duo Duran and Andy Mack who were so easy going and reassuring! I feel vigorous than ever!"

"Duran is a very knowledgeable, sincere and genuine teacher. He teaches traditional Taiji training methods that really do lead to positive personal developments. When you combine this with his fun manner the training is both demanding and rewarding. I would highly recommend studying Taiji with Duran."
